One of our main goals at the IOG is to make sure that the youth and families we work with have access to every available program and resource they need. This ensures that they can get the help they need quickly and when they need it the most. Below is a full list of the Programs, Resources, and partners we work with.

Programs

Crossover Youth Practice Model FACT Conferences use a multi-system approach, involving at least the Child Welfare System and the Juvenile Justice System. The model can also include the Health / Mental Health System, Education System, Law Enforcement System, and others. In addition, multiple agencies can be involved in the delivery of services to the child/youth/family. This joint approach benefits children/youth/families. The children/youth/families attend a single meeting with members of the Child Welfare System and Juvenile Justice System and other key systems as needed by the family. A single integrated service plan is written for the family which details who will be responsible for which action steps and includes a period, avoiding duplication or fragmentation of services.

The FACT conferences are based on the “Team Decision Making” model. FACT is a process that is intended to support children and families who are working with multiple agencies and who are at risk for truancy, drug and alcohol abuse, mental health issues, family issues, gang activity, court involvement, developmental issues, grades, peer issues, human trafficking, identity-based violence, and other high-risk behaviors. Community agencies collaborate with the youth and families to provide a comprehensive, family-centered approach. By utilizing FACT conferences, families can see an increase in the quality, appropriateness, and effectiveness of services

Children and adolescents experiencing serious emotional disturbance often have very complicated plans from several different systems. High-Fidelity Wraparound eagerly provides assistance that will help the family and child coordinate their services and supports in a way that empowers them to meet their needs as they define them. High-Fidelity Wraparound is a structured, team-based process that uses an evidence-based, nationally recognized model that partners with families to use their voice and strengths to develop a family-driven plan that promotes self-advocacy.

Youth who are at risk of either being runaway, homeless, or precariously housed. The program is designed to provide them with support and start the process of building trust. Morgan County Homeless and Runaway Youth Program, funded through the Rural Collaborative provide an array of services including case management for youth who are either runaway, homeless, precariously housed, at risk of running away, or at risk of being homeless.

Strengthening Families
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is an evidence-based family skills training program for high-risk and general population families that is recognized both nationally and internationally. Parents and youth attend weekly SFP skills classes together, learning parenting skills and youth life and refusal skills.
